The fries are deliciously overwhelming! The flavor is so good in the fries you can eat the leftovers at home, my first instinct was they could be crisper, irrelevant, the garlic top is worth it! The falafel salad bowl was FRESH. Check out those beautiful drinks!!! Yes, this is a small restaurant, you will love it!
Such a cute little spot with prettiest food decorations! They are reservation only so make sure to make reservations in advance. Bigger your group is, harder it is to reserve.
We had their dip platter and it served more than enough food for everyone. I loved how pretty it all came out.
I went mostly to try Knafeh (middle eastern cheese dessert that I really love) but it was a bit different from what I tried in the middle east. It's more bready and pancakey. Still pretty good though!
Street parking only but we didn't have trouble finding spots.
Paid a visit to Lulu's and was pleasantly surprised by our stroke of luck - we got seated immediately! If you're considering a visit, I'd highly recommend making reservations; walk-ins seem to be a game of chance. The culinary experience was nothing short of spectacular. It's evident that they pour love and attention into every dish. The flavors were rich, and the dishes were an explosion of tasteful delight. We ordered fried chicken sandro, crispy french fries, and a refreshing bowl salad. Each bite was better than the last. It was an experience worth repeating, and we will definitely be back.
The food and atmosphere at Lulu’s are awesome. I have eaten (dine in and take out) at Lulu’s multiple time and even came here with family for a very special birthday brunch. All of the food and drinks were delicious, but some especially memorable items were the hummus with lamb, ALL of the breads, the knafeh pancake, and the lemon orange blossom spritz. The photo is one of the mezze brunches we got for my birthday. Can’t wait to check out the Solano Ave location!
Very interesting Palestinian fare.. with excellent presentation of the brunch platter. Hummus, falafel, mahamara were all very flavorful.
The food is wonderful here! Probably one of the best middle eastern food I had in a long time - Tasty, full of textures, and a sight to feast too. The fried chicken sandwich + the muhamarra were particularly delicious. And the staff was very helpful. I just wished that the hours were longer for late lunch and dinner, so hopefully that gets extended in the future. In the meantime, I would go back here and bring friends and fam in a heartbeat
We were there yesterday, 2:30pm seating with nice weather to sit outside. When the 4 brunches were served, we were surprised to see them on a high tea plates. It made sense since the table was definitely not big enough without going 3D for all the food.
We liked all items. Cheese chunk next to the mini grapes and sesame breads were two favorites. The waitress told me that she specifically asked for the mini grapes just for me.🙂
Since they don't offer alcoholic drinks, we brought a bottle of champagne. They charged us $10 corkage fee but no ice bucket to keep it cool.
Great vibes, service is a little inattentive but the food surely makes up for it. The mezze plate is incredible, don’t miss out on it! The rose coffee is divine as well.
Would love some heaters or cozy blankets outside!
